Jaffar is clearly one of the most qualified and knowledgable inspectors in the area, he's a Certified Master Inspector, he has years of experience building homes and condos in the area, and he truly cares about his clients. Jaffar inspects your home with you, ensuring you understand any issues that come up and finding ways to educate you as a homeowner as you go. He's incredibly kind, patient, and transparent about what issues are surface-level vs what issues might cause a nightmare for you down the road and need immediate focus. On top of all of that, Jaffar goes above and beyond to back up all of his findings with additional research before delivering a final inspection report, and he even helped me contact the right experts to validate all the claims in his report and get confirmation on each. I hired Jaffar for an end-of-warranty inspection on my new build condo, and I'm incredibly happy I did. I called Mr. Jaffar on a Thursday for a last minute walk and talk home inspection Friday morning. Not only was Mr. Jaffar accommodating but his fee was very reasonable. Mr. Jaffar was very thorough during the walk and talk inspection and was happy to answer all my questions. He is very knowledgeable and wants the best for his customers! I found Jaffar (pronounced: Jaff-ER) because of his reviews, and he is as good as they say, if not better. He is honest, thorough, and “by the book”. If you’re in the market for a home in the DC area, Jaffar is the inspector you want! He is not out to get your money. Jaffar brought a level of expertise and attentiveness rarely found. As a mechanical engineer, I have exceptionally high expectations for details and thoroughness. He was not rushed and dedicated himself fully to the inspection of a 8,600 sq ft house and delivered a 200+ page report with exceptional photos of problems identified and extraordinary detail to include illustrations showing the correct way. Jaffar became like family to us that day and encouraged me, along with my husand and mother, who will be living with us, to shadow him during the inspection. He took the time to educate us on all of his findings as he discovered him. He also made himself available to us for any follow up questions.  He really does show that he cares and enjoys sharing his knowledge.  I will only ever use Prudent Home Inspections when buying a home.
