Jaffar has been incredible. He is relentless in trying to help us find all the major structural items with our home. Jaffar has visited our house FOUR TIMES over the course of this inspection (we are only getting charged once3 for a flat fee). Each visit was to address a minor but important detail and making sure that all the photos in his detailed report address accordingly. He was extremely thorough, detailed, knowledgeable and what impressed us the most was that he did not rely only on manufacturer installation guides but compared the construction to the industry standard which was not detailed in the manufacturer documents. I am sure we would have missed a number of repairs had Jaffer not been the inspector. Thanks Jaffar!C Chaudhry2022-05-03Updated Review (May 2022): Jaffar saved us thousands of dollars. I had hired him to inspect the home we’re currently living in (original review below). Three years after the inspection, I emailed Jaffar to seek his opinion on our deck. I had not spoken to him since I closed on the house so I was surprised he remembered me and responded IMMEDIATELY. He offered to come to our house to provide his view. I knew the deck needed repairs when we bought the house but we were at a complete loss on what to do after several contractors gave us vastly varying repair estimates (from $10,000 to as much as $60,000). Jaffar walked us through on what was code when the house was built in 2004 compared to what is code today. He gave us assessment on the condition of the wood and much more. I offered to compensate his time and travel costs but Jaffar very kindly still considered me a client and considered his trip out to my house still part of the service he gave us during the inspection. I’m not related to Jaffar nor did I know him before the inspection in 2019, so believe me when I say that hiring him to inspect the house was the best decision I made at the time. I strongly encourage everyone to reach out to Jaffar even if you decide to waive inspection because Jaffar can help new homeowners determine what needs to be repair after closing and which ones to prioritize. Original Review (2019): My wife and I are first time homeowners — and obviously very nervous about this major investment. We were beyond impressed with Jaffar. He was deliberate and thorough, examining very corner of the home. He recommended that we accompany him on the inspection so he could point out issues. Since we’re first time homeowners, he also provided tips and advice on home maintenance.
